Omega Speedmaster 125
Ref. ST 378.0801
The Speedmaster 125 was introduced in 1973 in celebration of Omega's 125th anniversary. It is powered by caliber 1041, which is a chronometer-certified version of caliber 1040. Its chronometer certification made it the first automatic chronograph to be COSC certified. It is said that no mroe than 2000 pieces were made. Although not directly noticable when looking at the specs, the 125 features a rather massive case. The bracelet is of the 'bar' type - similar to that found on the later Seamaster 'Albatros'. The bracelet measures 26mm at the case and tapers down to 15.5mm at the clasp.
