Introduced at BaselWorld 2015, the Day-Date 40 leads in a new era in the history of this Rolex icon. Its case is noticeably bigger than the classic DD, yet slightly smaller than the Day-Date II. It is powered by the highly innovative caliber 3255. The present example has a yellow gold case with baguette-cut diamond-set bezel; the champagne dial features applied Roman numerals.
